We answer the most frequent questions so you arrive at the track with as much information as possible.
01 Is experience necessary to drive a go-kart?
No. The karts are easy to drive and the team gives all safety instructions before the race.
02 Where can I get my ticket?
Dinokart tickets can be purchased on site from the sales assistant.
03 Can I bring my own helmet or gear?
As with any other karting track, our team will provide you with a balaclava and helmet, which will have been disinfected beforehand. If you have your own approved helmet, you may use it on the track.
04 Is there a trophy or medal included in the session fee?
No, however, it is possible to purchase a trophy or medal for €3.
05 Is it safe for children?
Yes. We have children's karts and the entire track is equipped with safety measures. Our team always supervises the younger drivers.
06 What clothes should I pack?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed shoes. Avoid flip-flops or sandals.
07 Is there car park at the karting track?
Yes, Dinokart has free car park for guests.
08 What if it rains?

Prices vary depending on session length and race type (individual or group). Check our Pricing page for all current rates.
10 What's the minimum age to drive a go-kart at Dinokart?
The minimum age for our main karts is 16, with experience required. For younger drivers, we offer karts from age 10, with a minimum height of 1.35m.
11 Is Dinokart an indoor or outdoor karting track?
Dinokart is an outdoor karting track, with a 920m circuit in Casal da Murta, Lourinhã. Being outdoors, the track is larger and allows for faster karts than a typical indoor track — ideal if you want more adrenaline and a driving experience closer to real racing. If you just want quick fun in an enclosed space, indoor karting may be enough; if you want real speed on a technical track, Dinokart is the right choice.
